The goal of the 2 hour tour of Beirut is to become acquainted with the history, politics, religious diversity, financial crisis, the October 17 – 2019 protests, the Civil War (1975-1990) and the Beirut Blast.

-Among the places we will visit or see is:

-Martyr’s Statue

-the Al-Amine Mosque (from outside)

-the Saint George Maronite Cathedral (from outside)

-the ruins of the center of the Roman city of Berytus

-the “I love Beirut” Sign

-Beirut Souks + Zaha Hadid Building

-the farmer’s market (on Saturdays only)

-Zeituna Bay

-Saint George Hotel and Assassination spot of Ex-prime minister Rafic Harriri

-Old Holiday Inn

START TIME: 10:00 AM SHARP
AVAILABILITY: TUESDAYS AND SATURDAYS
MEETING POINT: MARTYR’S SQUARE (SAHET AL SHOHADA IN ARABIC)
DURATION: APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS
PRICE: FREE (TIPS ARE WELCOMED)
MAXIMUM GROUP: 15 PAX
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH

1) Registration is required to guarantee your spot (Maximum of 3 people can join from a single party)

2) To avoid abuse of this free walking tour no walk-ins are allowed

3) The tour is offered only to foreigners & Lebanese diaspora.
