The Lebanese Red Cross Society is led by volunteers, whose mission is to provide relief to victims of natural and human made disasters, and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies, and to mitigate the suffering of the most vulnerable.
Creating a centralized organization that holds a database of volunteers who are willing to generously donate their blood, platelets and plasma to patients in need.
Blood Bank at AUBMC runs regular blood drives to stress on the importance of blood transfusion which saves hundreds of thousands of lives in Lebanon each year.; By organizing blood drives, the inventory of the blood bank is replenished and increased.
